Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with every service. Here is our clear and transparent policy on refunds, cancellations, and money-back guarantees.

Our Commitment AbollyHost offers a genuine money-back guarantee on eligible new hosting services. We believe in earning your business, not keeping your money when you are not satisfied.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which AbollyHost will issue refunds for services purchased through abollyhost.com. All refund requests must be submitted through the official channels described in Section 7. All services are provided on a prepaid basis. Unless specified otherwise in this policy, you are responsible for payment through the end of the current billing period even if you cancel before that period ends.

2. Money-Back Guarantee

AbollyHost offers a 7-day money-back guarantee on first-time purchases of the following services:

  • Shared Hosting plans (new accounts only);
  • Reseller Hosting plans (new accounts only).
First-Time Accounts Only The money-back guarantee applies exclusively to the first purchase of each service type. If you have previously purchased and cancelled a Shared Hosting plan with a refund, you are not eligible for a second money-back guarantee on a new Shared Hosting purchase.

To qualify, you must submit a cancellation request within 7 calendar days of the service activation date. Refunds under this guarantee are for the hosting plan fee only and exclude the items listed in Section 4.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following services and fees are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Domain Name Registrations & Renewals: Domain purchases are final due to the immediate registration with the registry authority;
  • SSL Certificates: Once issued, SSL certificates are non-refundable;
  • WHOIS Privacy / Domain Privacy: Non-refundable once activated;
  • VPS Hosting: All VPS payments are non-refundable regardless of billing period or circumstance;
  • Dedicated Servers: Given the hardware allocation and provisioning costs, dedicated server fees are non-refundable;
  • Setup & Migration Fees: One-time service fees for manual configuration, migration, or professional services;
  • IP Address Leases: Additional IP address fees are non-refundable;
  • Accounts Terminated for Policy Violations: No refund for services terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Renewal Refunds

AbollyHost sends renewal invoices and reminder emails in advance of your billing date. You are responsible for cancelling services you no longer need before the renewal date to avoid being charged.

As a courtesy, we may consider refund requests for accidental renewals on Shared and Reseller Hosting plans if the request is submitted within 48 hours of the renewal charge and the service has not been actively used since renewal. Such refunds are issued at AbollyHost's sole discretion. VPS and Dedicated Server renewal charges are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.

6. Terminations for Policy Violations

No Refunds on Policy Violations Accounts terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy are not entitled to any refund of fees paid, including any unused prepaid period.

7. How to Request a Refund

  1. Cancel your service first via your AbollyHost client area (Services → Manage → Request Cancellation);
  2. Open a billing ticket at client.abollyhost.com with subject line "Refund Request — [Service Name]";
  3. Include your account email, the service name, the date of purchase, and the reason for cancellation;
  4. Our billing team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

Refund requests sent to general support email addresses or through social media will not be processed. All requests must go through the official ticketing system.

8. Processing Time & Refund Method

  • Account Credit: Credits are applied to your AbollyHost account balance immediately and can be used toward future invoices;
  • Original Payment Method: Refunds to your original payment method are processed within 5–10 business days, subject to your bank or payment provider's processing time;
  • Bank Transfers / Crypto Payments: Refunds for payments made via bank transfer or cryptocurrency will be issued as account credit only, unless AbollyHost agrees in writing to an alternative arrangement.

9. Chargebacks & Disputes

We strongly encourage you to contact our billing team before initiating a chargeback. If you initiate an unjustified chargeback, AbollyHost reserves the right to suspend your account immediately pending investigation and permanently terminate your account if the chargeback is found to be without merit.

10. Currency, Exchange Rates & Transaction Fees

All AbollyHost services are priced in Nigerian Naira (NGN) or US Dollars (USD) as displayed at time of purchase. Refunds will be issued in the same currency as the original transaction. AbollyHost is not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations between the time of original payment and the time of refund. Transaction fees charged by your payment provider are non-recoverable and will not be included in any refund.
